Honoring Them
Planning a funeral or celebration of life.
A gentle workbook for the family planning the day and the friends helping them. Part of the I Am Grieving, Now What? series. 20 pages.
When someone you love passes away, you are asked to make a hundred decisions while you can barely breathe. This workbook walks you through them one at a time. It helps you sort what has to happen now from what can wait, choose the kind of service that fits, put who they are at the center of the day and hand off the jobs friends keep asking to do.
A gentle note at the top of every page explains why it matters, grounded in David Kessler's grief work (grief.com, Finding Meaning) along with The Dougy Center's guidance for children.

A NOTE FROM ME
Hi, I'm Niki. I'm a mom, a certified grief educator and I lead The Ugly Cry Club, a group for grief and loss. When we lost my daughter Harper, we planned her celebration of life around one question: what would show people who she is? Her sister picked out her casket. We set out a table of her favorite things and served her favorite foods. I made this workbook so you don't have to figure it out alone.
Real tears. Real love.
