Me Too: A Sibling's Book for Cancer Treatment
A workbook for brothers, sisters, stepsiblings and bonus siblings when a child in the family has cancer, with pages for parents. Ages 3-17. 27 pages.
Part of Through Treatment, Together.
When a child has cancer, the whole family goes through treatment. The brothers and sisters are often the ones waiting at home: worried, left out, jealous and then guilty for feeling jealous and trying hard not to add to anyone's worry. This book gives every one of them, by birth or by marriage, in one home or two, a place to put all of it, in words that fit their age and gives you simple, honest ways to keep them close while your hands are full.
A gentle introduction on every page. Each page opens with a short note for grown-ups about why it matters, grounded in respected work on children and siblings, including The Dougy Center's guidance for children when a family member is seriously ill and Dr. Heidi Horsley's work on siblings, plus one calming breath to do together.
One book for every age. Each kid page has age notes: little ones (3-6) draw while you read and write their words; kids (7-12) write and draw; teens get their own "teen corner" line.
This book is about diagnosis and treatment, with hope and honesty. It does not include end-of-life content.

HOW IT WORKS
• This is a digital download. Nothing will be shipped to you.
• After checkout, your files appear under You > Purchases and Reviews on Etsy and in your Etsy confirmation email.
• Print at home or at a local print shop, or type right into the fillable file on a computer, tablet or phone.
• The fillable file works best in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader (on a computer, tablet or phone). Other PDF apps may not save typing and some rating circles may let you pick more than one answer. To write by hand on a tablet, open any version in an app like GoodNotes or Notability.

A GIFT FOR A FAMILY IN TREATMENT

A NOTE FROM ME
Hi, I'm Niki. I'm a mom and a certified grief educator. My daughter Harper was diagnosed with osteosarcoma at fifteen and our family spent about three and a half years in treatment, living in two places at once. Harper's brothers and sisters, by birth and by marriage, lived it with us. I made this book for the brothers and sisters who wait at home and for the parents who worry about them.
Real tears. Real love.
